It has been an extremely challenging time for us all.
The Kaimoo Management would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies and well wishes to all those who have been affected by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation. These are unprecedented times we are living through, and we applaud the bravery and dedication of our heroes on the frontline of this global crisis.
At Kaimoo, we take the well-being of our team members and guests seriously. From the start we have adopted several precautionary measures to safeguard our guests and team members. We have been working closely with the Health Protection Authority (HPA) of the Maldives and other local authorities for their advice to provide a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
Considering this evolving situation, the Kaimoo Management has decided to suspend operations of Embudu Village, Summer Island Maldives and Equator Village temporarily effective 1st April 2020 to 30th June 2020. It is indeed a difficult but crucial decision, and this decision has been made with the best interests of our team members who are at the frontline, clients, and the rest of the travel community in mind.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused due to this, and we have decided to amend our policies as follows:
Date Change: For direct bookings, please get in touch with us and we will assist you with changing the dates of your upcoming travels without any additional charges.
Cancellation Policy: Should you decide to cancel your booking, we fully understand, and we will waive off cancellation charges. Please get in touch with us and we can discuss what options work best for you.
For reservations booked via online travel agents or other third-party travel professionals, please contact the booking provider for information on their policies.
We hope this flexibility would help you greatly during this uncertain time.
We deeply appreciate the generations worth of support from our community and clients, contributions to which the Kaimoo family owe our success to. We eagerly await the day we will see you again- this is not a goodbye but a see you soon.
In the meantime, #VisitMaldivesLater, stay safe and hold strong!
